About Us: Who We Are — Board of Directors Fr. Bill Vos, Chair Bill spent 19 years working overseas, primarily in Tanzania, East Africa, with Maryknoll Lay Missioners. He also served as MKLM Africa Area Coordinator, as a member of the MKLM Leadership Team, and as a member of the lay missioner Advisory Board. Currently, Bill is diocesan Director of Catholic Relief Services. He also is a member of the Presbyteral Council, performs part-time ministry at St. Benedict's College, and is directly involved in the promotion of Global Solidarity Partnerships between the Diocese of St. Cloud and a number of overseas Church entities. His global travels for mission awareness and education include Kenya, New Guinea, Tanzania, the U.S. / Mexico Border, and Venezuela. In union with Maryknoll Lay Missioners, Bill hopes to continue to work with short-term mission trips.

Margo Cambier, Maryknoll Lay Missioner Margo and her husband Erik joined MKLM from the Prince of Peace parish in Princeton, MA, a diocese of Worcester. With a BS in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Western New England College, Margo enjoyed a successful and rewarding business career. Just prior to her joining MKLM, she was a Management Consultant and the Assistant Director of Fiscal Management with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Worcester, MA.
As a 17-year veteran of MKLM, Margo has served in diverse areas of the organization, including ministry service in Tanzania where she was also on the finance committee for that region. She has also served the organization and mission as a member of MKLM’s New York-based Mission Services Department, Admissions Team, and the U.S. East Region's Orientation committee.
Prior to joining MKLM, Margo’s community volunteer work included her being a lector, involved with adult education and a member of the parish education committee. She led Bible study classes and was trained as a master catechist. She served on the Board of Directors of Dismas House, Inc., did nursing home ministry and volunteered with Nazareth Home for Boys. Margo was a founding board member of the Worcester County Food Bank, Inc. and did women's prison ministry.

Dave Cappellari, CEO, Building Supply CAPPS Homebuilding Center Dave brings to MKLM his multi-faceted experience in community support raising, fundraising, and board appointments with Resurrection Church, Franklin County UCMA, Smart Foundation, and the Windmill Harbour. Dave earned his BS in Civil Engineering from Ohio University in Athens. He is a parishioner of St. Francis by the Sea, Hilton Head, S.C. Return to top
David Dreiling, Founder & CEO of GTM Sportswear, Inc. Dave is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GTM Sportswear, Inc. in Manhattan, Kansas. He is also the owner of Cushion Seats Inc. and Hungry Cats Inc., and is a consultant for The Growth Coach. His community service work has included fund-raising and donation efforts for victims of the Midwest Flood of 1993, victims of 9/11, and victims of Hurricane Katrina. Currently, he is a Board Director for Flint Hills Breadbasket, where he also served two terms as president, and Heartland Works.

Thomas Healey, CFA, Chairman Healey Development, Inc. Tom is a senior fellow and Adjunct Lecturer at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a retired partner of Goldman Sachs & Co. His experience as a governing and advisory board member includes: current and prior appointments on Boards for Better Chance Inc, Georgetown University, Harvard Business School, Hoover Institution, Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, Resurrection School, and Tri-County Scholarship Fund. He is also a Board Member and Treasurer for the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management (NLRCM), an organization of laity, religious and clergy working together to promote excellence and best practices in management, finance, and human resources development of the Catholic Church in the U.S. by greater incorporation of the expertise of the laity.

Marjorie Humphrey, Maryknoll Lay Missioner Marj has been a Maryknoll Lay Missioner since 1988. She has used her extensive education and training to fulfill her spiritual calling to ministry work in East Africa where she has worked for the Kitale Aids Program, the Bakhita Formation Centre, the Catholic Diocese of Kitale Mobile Clinics, the Sisters of Charity Medical Center, the Diocese of Torit (Sudan) Medical Program, and the Nangina Mission Hospital. Her experience as an appointed member to governing and advisory committees includes the Formulary Advisory Committee, the Kitale District Hospital Committee, MKLM Africa Area Coordinator, MKLM Regional Coordinator for the Kenya/Zimbabwe Region, and MKLM Human Resources Manager for Kenya, Sudan, and Zimbabwe.

Frank Johnson, Founder & President of JMS Southeast, Inc. Frank is founder, President, and General Manager of JMS Southeast, Inc. in Statesville, North Carolina. He is also President of Statesville Process Instruments. His involvement in the Catholic Church includes a pilgrimage to Lourdes, an immersion trip with MKLM to the Venezuela region, and activity on his parish council. His prior experience as a governing board member includes membership on the Board of Trustees for Belmont Abbey College.
Return to top Dave Kane, Maryknoll Lay Missioner Dave joined MKLM in 1995 from Seattle, Washington, where he had worked with the homeless and mentally ill. His first ministry in Brazil was with street children. Since June 2005, Dave has worked at the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns as Associate for Latin American and Economic Justice. Drawing on the experiences from MKLM missioners in Latin America, Dave works to educate the general U.S. public and influence public policy on issues that affect our overseas partners. Return to top
Michael Noonan, Founding Partner of Rinke & Noonan, Attorneys at Law Mike is a founding partner of the law firm Rinke, Noonan, one of the largest law firms in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Mike's area of expertise and practice is corporate law. His experience as an advisory and governing board member includes: the Advisory Board of the Benecdictine Sisters of St. Joseph, the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud, Board member of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, and Executive Committee member of St. Cloud Opportunities.
Return to top Rhonda Paver, Owner and Executive Director, Stepping Stone School Child Development Center Rhonda, drawn to the importance and integrity of MKLM’s work, has served on its board since 2010. She lends her extensive experience as an entrepreneur and executive director of Stepping Stone School Child Development Center. A resident of Austin, Texas, she also serves as a board member for several local and national non-profit organizations and as the Chair of the Austin Child Care Council. Return to top
Mary Sue Smiaroski, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator, Oxfam International Mary Sue is currently the monitoring, evaluation and learning coordinator for Oxfam International, leading new initiatives towards greater strategic collaboration in learning towards improved program quality across the Oxfam international Confederation. A former Maryknoll Lay Missioner, Mary Sue served in Chile from 1985 until 1992. During her tenure, she headed the Maryknoll Peace and Justice Commission of Chile, performing human rights analyses and creating action proposals. Her prior work experience includes positions with Oxfam Canada, and Oxfam Great Britain, as a Policy Advisor and as Program Manager, and as Project Officer and Coordinator for the Gender Working Group, and with Americas Council in Chile as Evaluation Assistant. Mary Sue has also served as a member of the MKLM Advisory Board. Return to top Mark Wittenburg, Principal, Batis Development After earning a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University and an MBA from the University of Houston, Mark spent the early years of his career as a public accountant. He later established Menninger, a health care organization. After five years with that company, Mark became the founding principal of Batis Development, a Topeka, Kansas based real estate construction company. Mark is an active member of the Topeka community, serving as a board member for organizations including the United Way of Greater Topeka, St. Francis Health Center Foundation, GO Topeka, and the Topeka Chamber of Commerce. Mark also serves on the Archbishop’s Task Force on Realignment of Topeka’s Parishes and Parish Schools. Return to top
Mike Wrob, President & Founder of Marathon Heater Mike is the founder and President of Marathon Heater in Del Rio, Texas. His experience with advisory, community, and governing boards include current appointments as Councilman with the Del Rio City Council, the St. Joseph's Church Finance Council, and the Del Rio Board of Directors, and a prior appointment as Chairman of Economic Development Committee for the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association and is a Beta-Chi Hall of Fame Inductee. Return to top
