While so many American children cry during their basic vaccine and immunity shots, so many more children cry for of lack of them. Children around the world are often suffering from easily preventable diseases and viruses. Lack of knowledge of hygiene and nutritional practices exacerbate the problem. Worldwide, HIV/AIDS and other deadly epidemics are quickly becoming pandemics, killing scores of thousands yearly. Access to healthcare facilities is often limited because of money or geography.

MKLM missioners work with communities to provide health care and education at every level. Some missioners teach fundamental hygiene education, while others provide their services as doctors and physician assistants.
